This has been a difficult week to figure out when it comes to our weather with so many variables coming into play. Here's the latest on the chance for snow in the next 24 hours at the Jersey Shore.

Our meteorologist Dan Zarrow says we may get some snow that could mix with rain today, with the best shot at accumulating snow being late this afternoon through tonight with 3 to 5 inches inland and 1 to 3 inches along the coast.

A bigger concern may be related to coastal flooding where some towns, including Belmar, have dealt with flooding issues already and moderate to localized major flooding remains a possibility through the Tuesday morning high tide cycle (which is between 7:30 and 8:30 this morning). A Coastal Flood Warning is in effect until 1:00pm today.

We continue to monitor the latest, so stay up to date on Dan's latest forecast with all the details on today's Jersey Shore weather concerns.
