Laurie’s Big News

So I figured getting stuck in the elevator on Friday would be the most exciting thing that would happen to me all week.

I was wrong.

I'm super excited to share that Duzzy and I are engaged!

Saturday afternoon, the love of my life told me we were meeting his sister for lunch, and instead took me on a little detour to Riverside Gardens Park in Red Bank and asked me to marry him.

It was perfect.

Everyone keeps asking if I was expecting it, and while I knew it would happen eventually (as in sometime this year...or next...or the year after...), I had no idea it would happen when it did. I really thought we were just going to lunch!

It's exciting, and overwhelming, and I can't wait to share it all with you guys. I'll be needing lots of advice along the way!
