Legally Blind Manasquan Boy Talks About The Little League No Hitter He Pitched!

When Doug Wells, who is legally blind,  told Coach Wahl at Manasquan Elementary School he wanted to try pitching, he said why not. Little did either of them know just how good the 10 year old would be!

Before they knew it, Doug was pitching a no hitter for his little league team! That's right, he pitched a no hitter!During a visit to the morning show, he told me and Liz that he always dreamed of playing ball and loves it. He is now 15 and playing on the high school football team!

We hear so many sad and tragic stories each day from all over the world, so it is amazing to hear a story of courage and inspiration like this one right in our backyard!,  Great job Doug, on your accomplishments, and on being an inspiration to all of us!
