My son Benji loves to create intricate machines and recently made this futuristic electric mixer (with moving parts) at a great after-school program.

It's called Bricks 4 Kidz and they offer the program at our elementary school and many other schools throughout our area as well as at many area summer camps. It is a wonderful opportunity for hands-on learning that many of the the moms I know agree is a great activity for children who like to work with their hands.

Benjamin made many inventions, modes of transportation (aircrafts, trains, etc....all with moving parts!) and more. This is more than just simple LEGO-building.

The different programs include Robotics, Famous Buildings, Young Engineers Club, and Creative Play.

Benji was really able to expand his mind and work on team-building skills to learn, step by step, how to use LEGO bricks to explore inventions, space, and even natural disasters!
