Robert A. Fiolka, 69, was sentenced to 114 months today in a Trenton federal courtroom, according to information supplied by New Jersey U.S. Attorney Paul Fishman's office.

He previously pleaded guilty to an information charging him with robbery under the Hobbs Act and use of a firearm during a crime of violence. He was ordered to serve supervised release for five years and to pay $200,000 in restitution.

Fiolka admitted entering Blue Stove Antiques on the morning of June 2 last year, wielding a handgun while masked in a face covering and hat.

Fiolka admitted pointing the weapon at the owner and forcing him to open the shop's safe. He filled it with about $200,000 worth of jewelry and escaped.

The ensuing investigation entailed members of the Colts Neck, Fair Haven, Old Bridge and Wall Township police departments, the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office and agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation under Special Agent In Charge Aaron Ford in Newark.
