A 14 year old Little League player from California is being sued by his coach for an injury suffered after the teen threw his helmet in celebration.

The boy threw his helmet in the air (a pretty common baseball practice) after scoring the winning run of the game. The helmet struck his coach and ruptured his achilles tendon, according to foxsports.com.

The coach is now suing the player for $100,000 in medical bills and lost wages, and an additional $500,000 for pain and suffering.

The case will be heard by a judge in March, and according to the report, the boy's family has already paid $4000 in legal fees and has no home insurance to cover the damage in the lawsuit.
