After all we've been through, the inevitable has happened. Liz has turned her back on me. I knew it would eventually happen.

Here's how it went down last Friday at the New Jersey Natural Gas Asbury Park Boardwalk Studio. Liz showed up at the studio and did what she always does. She turned the studio light off so we were basically in the dark for the first half hour.

As soon as the sun came up, our attention turned to the heat. The Heat Index was supposed to go over 105 degrees, so we were concerned about how hot it would get  in our outdoor studio.

The great news is there was an amazing breeze that kept it pretty cool until almost 9:00am. Here's the problem. The way the wind was blowing, the only way Liz could keep her hair out of her face was to turn her back to me. So we did the whole show that way.

Check the photo for my view all morning, and by the way, whoever threw spitballs in Liz's hair I only have one thing to say...real mature!
