Local Bar Tour by Trolly for a Great Cause!

It's the Squan Strong Shore Tour -- Trollys will take you and your friends around several towns to visit nine bars for food and drink specials, all to benefit Sandy victims who still need help.

Squan Strong Shore takes place this Saturday, June 6th, from Noon - 5 pm. You still have time to register this Friday evening (6/5), 5 - 8 pm, at Spring Lake Manor on Rt. 71. Minimum donation is $25 per participant.

The final badge and t-shirt pickup is on Saturday, 10:30 - Noon, at Reef & Barrel (formerly Edgars).

Confirmed participating bars: The Irish Rail, Manasquan Beach House, Allure, Rella's, Spring Lake Manor, Fratello's, Rod's, Reef & Barrel, and Bar A.

Three trolleys will be running from each location to pick up participants and bring them to another location.

You must have a pre-paid badge to board the trolly and participate in the bar specials. And you must be 21 to take part in this event, with a valid ID.

In addition to the trolly, you can also take NJ Transit trains which stop near Bar A and The Irish Rail.

All proceeds from this event go toward moving people back home and helping others that are still displaced since Sandy.
