A garage outside a home in Long Branch is completely destroyed from an early Thursday morning fire.

Long Branch firefighters were able to douse the blaze at the corner of Third Avenue and Van Dyke Place.

Long Branch Professional Firefighters Association - FMBA Local 68 was the first crew on scene putting out the fire that had engulfed the 20' x 30' garage.

The firefighters were able to protect the two buildings exposed to the elements while putting out the blaze that took about an hour-and-a-half.

Additional firefighters were brought in after a box alarm was sent out.

No injuries have been reported.
