Long Branch to Hold Real Estate and Mortgage Workshop

The inflated real estate market and mortgage foreclosure crises are considered the biggest driving forces behind one of the worst recessions in our nation's history. As a result, navigating the channels of gaining approval for a mortgage to purchase commercial or residential real estate has become complex and shrouded in mystery.

If you've got questions about obtaining a mortgage, preventing foreclosure, selling a home that's under water or even acquiring a federal grant, Long Branch is the place to be this coming Wednesday, April 10th. The Long Branch Department of Recreation and Human Services in conjunction with Maestro Community Development and various partner agencies are hosting a Real Estate and Mortgage Educational Workshop.

Quality Title and Abstract Agency President Jim Jordan says there will be representatives from various parts of the mortgage lending and real estate communities available to help participants.

Jordan insist that the event is not a platform to sell their services but to provide empowerment and education to the residents in Long Branch and the surrounding communities. "To give people and option as well as many of the New Jersey programs that are available to people and some of the forgivable grants have been excellent tools to help them get back on their feet and stay in their homes."

The free workshop takes place at the Adam "Bucky" James Community Center at 5:45 p.m. On 231 Wilbur Ray Blvd., Long Branch, NJ.
