Look Who Has Arrived at Jenkinson’s Aquarium! (Video)

Arguably one of the cutest animal in creation...meet Jenk's first Sloth!

This two-toed Sloth has actually been in Point Pleasant Beach at Jenkinson's Aquarium for several weeks, but he is in quarantine while he adjusts. And quarantine is a fabulous place, by the way, complete with tons of tree branches, foliage, comfy beds, and even his own stuffed animal to cuddle with -- plus all of that human attention from the loving staff at the Aquarium.

I was beyond thrilled to get the opportunity to meet this 2-year old (who hasn't yet been named) as he was being trained. It was so much fun to watch him, well, hang out!

Claws hooked on the branches as he hung upside down, fangs slowly biting into his fruit, this furry guy (his coat would be the envy of any woman on her best hair day!) has a natural clamping ability that will hold him in place while he sleeps....and he sleeps A LOT! He is nocturnal, by the way, and a real sleepy-head :)

I can't wait for you to get the opportunity to see him in person. He will be slowly introduced out on the floor here and there...so you never know when you will get lucky enough to  meet him, but be sure to join us as we do our Lou & Liz morning show LIVE from the boardwalk at Jenkinson's Aquarium on Wednesday, June 20th and there is a very, very good chance that they will bring him out for you and your kids to see!!!!!
