Lorde Spends Time in Asbury Park
Asbury Park is a huge draw for a lot of reasons, especially for music lovers.
The city is always playing host to amazing talent, ranging from the local to the international, and this past weekend was no exception, with one Grammy-winning rising star stopping in to work on some new tunes.
The Asbury Park Sun reports that singer-songwriter Lorde spent last Thursday and Friday working at Lakehouse Recording Studio on Lake Ave.
The 'Royals' singer was recording a song for the new Hunger Games movie with award-winning producer Paul Epworth, who shared a photo of the two on Instagram.
Lorde then spent a few days practicing at the Paramount Theater, getting ready for her upcoming tour, which officially kicks off tomorrow night in Philly.
The Asbury Park Press reports that Lorde also spent time at local eateries Langosta Lounge and Fish Urban Dining over the weekend.
Pretty cool!
