Lotus Health and Wellness Spa Opens in Red Bank

There are few things better than spending a few hours at the spa.

Located in the Red Bank Crossings building at 46 Newman Springs Rd. (Rt. 520) in Red Bank, Lotus Health and Wellness Spa is a bit of a hidden gem.

I got to spend a few hours at Lotus during their soft opening, and it was honestly one of the most relaxing spa experiences I've ever had. I enjoyed a massage, a facial, some time in the steam room and sauna, and even spent some time just lounging in their relaxation room, sipping on hot honey water and enjoying a fresh apple.

My favorite thing about Lotus Health and Wellness Spa was how truly comfortable they made me feel. There was no snooty vibe or hectic environment upon entering. It was just a fabulously calm and inviting space, and the treatments were great!

The services

They offer everything from multiple styles of massage and several types of facials, to full body treatments! They also keep a doctor on staff to perform medical spa treatments like laser hair removal, microdermabrasion, and injectables, like Botox. They also offer yoga classes in their spacious studio.

There are no salon services like manicures or hair cuts, but they are considering adding services like paraffin hand treatments.

What I love so much about the staff at Lotus is that they just want to make their clients happy. If there's a service that you want, but it isn't on their menu, they'll try their best to do it for you. If you want them to have food waiting for you so you can pop in for a service during their lunch break, they'll likely set it up. Want a massage but can't get there til after 7 p.m.? They might stay open late for you!

You can even make an appointment to just use the relaxation room, and get access to the steam room, sauna, and hot tub for just $25! They might even throw in a complimentary scalp or shoulder massage if you ask!

The salon is generally only open to women, as there's only one locker room and sauna/steam room/hot tub, but men are welcome on Sundays (by appointment only.)

Lotus Health and Wellness Spa is located on the second floor at 46 Newman Springs Rd. in Red Bank, on the westbound side, just west of Broad St./Rt. 35. Look for the sign for Fred Astaire Dance Studios, and use that entrance to get to the second floor. Open M-F 10a-7p, Sat. 10a-6p, Sundays by appt.
