Lou Meets His Nearly 30 Year Old Publicity Photo

One thing I did expect to see at iPlay America this weekend was generosity, and I saw that. One thing I didn't expect to see was a 28 year old picture of myself, but I saw that too.

We were broadcasting live from iPlay America for the Pointsettia Toy Drive yesterday when two awesome and long time listeners, Allan and Linda from Manalapan appeared with something in their hand.

That something was a publicity photo I took  almost 30 years ago, and they brought it to finally get me to sign it. I don't know why I didn't sign it way back then, but I was thrilled to do it now.

Then I got a chance to get a good look at it, and there it was. The cheesy 80's mustache and the very, very ill advised mullet. Ouch. What were we thinking? Seriously. I thought that looked good?  Wow.

Anyway, it was such a pleasure to see this awesome couple and what an honor to know they've been listening for all these years. I can't tell you how much I appreciate that. So, Allan and Linda, thanks for stopping by, and thanks for making my day!
