Lou Prepares To Take On The Harlem Globetrotters

I guess my 2.5 point average per game against them over the years hasn't scared them away. The Harlem Globetrotters have asked me to play against them again this season.

Of course, I accepted the challenge, and I'll be playing against the greatest basketball team in the world tomorrow night (3/20) at Collins Arena at Brookdale Community College.. I have been chosen to play against them several times over the past few years, and it has been like living a dream.

I mean, if you're 5' 2", you don't expect to ever find yourself on a basketball court playing against the most famous basketball team in the universe. But I'll be out there again, trying to maneuver myself around some of the world's elite athletes.

Regarding the points I've scored, I'm going to have to be honest. Two of them were scored on a lay up while all of the Globetrotters laid on the court motionless. The other three were scored on two foot foul shots. But to anyone who might find my "points" questionable, I offer this question. How many points have you scored against the Harlem Globetrotters?

All kidding aside, the Globetrotters are so much fun and it really is a great night for the whole family, and over the years the Globetrotters have been so nice to me, that I still feel like a kid around them. Hope to see you there!
