It was Celebrity Reading Day at Emma Havens Young Elementary School in Brick yesterday (3/2) and I was honored to be asked to be there to read to the kids.

We had a great time as I visited Mrs. Constantino's third grade class where we enjoyed a Dr. Seuss book and a great discussion that even included a debate on whether weather people should get paid if they get the weather wrong!

This is not my first visit to Emma Havens Young Elementary School. I have been there to read before and I hope to be back again. The faculty is terrific and the kid are always ready with some great questions and comments.

My next reading assignment is today (3/4) at the Ladacin Network's Lehmann School's Read Across America in Lakewood. I'm looking forward to visiting my many friends there today!
