Lou’s Father’s Day Tribute To His Dad

I am so fortunate to have a great relationship with my parents. As Father's Day approaches, I wanted to pay tribute to all my Dad does for me.

When you think of all the things a dad can be to a child whether they're 3 or 30, it really is mind boggling. I couldn't even begin to list all the things my Dad has done and continues to do for me, but the least I can do is mention of some of them.

He sets an example. Growing up I saw an honest, loving, caring, sensitive, good man. He is that same good man today.

He's strong. He is and has been one of my best friends my whole life, but when it comes time to lay down the law, he's dad first, buddy second.

He's there. Whatever the occasion, crisis, celebration or event, my Dad (and Mom, too) is always there. I don't have to ask and I don't have to wonder. I just know. He'll be there.

I am very fortunate to have a dad like mine and I'm honored to give this small tribute. Happy Father's Day to all the dads To my Dad, Happy Father's Day and I love you.
