Lowe’s Express in Wall Closed

After only being open since June of 2013, the Lowe's Express on Route 35 in Wall has closed.

Lowe's spokesman Steve Salazar said in a statement to APP:

After careful consideration, we made the decision to close our Lowe’s Express store in Wall Township. Lowe’s Express opened in 2013 in response to the significant need to help surrounding communities rebuild after Hurricane Sandy devastated the area.

This Lowe's specialized in the necessities and didn't have a garden center or lumber department.

Luckily, Salazar said that all 58 employees "have been offered immediate jobs at nearby locations."
