Brick Plaza is about the undergo a massive overhaul.

According to Brick Patch, Wednesday night the Township approved development plans that will drastically change the Brick Plaza we know.

We know that these development plans include LA Fitness opening a gym where Sports Authority used to be. There's no timetable set on when they'll be opening their doors.

Expect craft store Michael's to be open for business in March. And Brick Plaza will also welcome HomeGoods sometime this summer.

Finally, in what may be the best news out of this Township meeting, plenty of additional parking is in the works.

This transformation of the Plaza isn't a small one. It will cost about $23 million. But it sounds like all of the additions and changes should be good ones. For example, the planned outdoor courtyard area that will have a boardwalk theme with benches and picnic tables.
