Major Sporting Goods Store Opening in West Long Branch

Getting gear is about to get easier in Monmouth County!

Dick's Sporting Goods is on track to open at Consumer Centre on Route 36 in West Long Branch. Ironically, Dick's is going where the old Sports Authority used to be. They hope to be open by late Spring or early Summer, according to APP.

This will be great, because if you need something in particular in a pinch, sometimes you don't have time to get to the Mall in Freehold.

The question now is, what else is going to the Consumer Centre? There is a lot of real estate that is wide open. No word from officials on whether there are plans as of yet.
