Manalapan Stop & Shop Closing

A major supermarket chain in Monmouth County is closing its doors.

The Stop & Shop on Tennent Road in Manalapan will close on July 10 according to their corporate headquarters.

Don Sussman, Stop & Shop's New York Metro Division president said in a news release that the decision to close was based on a review of the operating performance. He urged current customers to visit the Freehold Stop & Shop.

Luckily, all employees of the Manalapan location will be offered jobs at other New Jersey Stop & Shops.
