March for Babies Walk on the Boardwalk in Asbury

The March for Babies walks benefits the March of Dimes to put an end to premature birth, which is now the #1 killer of babies in our country.

Many babies who survive premature birth still face serious health challenges and a lifetime of disabilities. In fact, 1 in 10 babies is born too soon.

The March of Dimes is responsible for many breakthroughs in children's health, including the vaccines that prevent polio. Today, they're fighting premature birth through things like the five Prematurity Research Centers to find causes and preventions.

March for Babies helps fund this and other vital work for moms that need quality prenatal care and to help and comfort families with a baby in the NICU.

The March for Babies in Asbury Park takes place Sunday, April 24th, on the boardwalk. Registration begins at 10 am.The walk begins at 11 am and is 3 miles.
