There's nothing like Maruca's pizza. From its signature look to its delicious taste. It's hard not to stop at Maruca's Tomato Pies when you're in Seaside. Soon, Monmouth County will be able to enjoy a gigantic Maruca's slice.

It's hard to believe, but the Asbury Park boardwalk currently doesn't have a pizzeria.

Look for Maruca's to open a second location by the end of the year in the Fifth Avenue Pavilion. According to a report by APP, Maruca's AP spot will accommodate 70 inside and 40 outside. You'll be able to enter off the boardwalk or from Ocean Avenue. They'll be open late for a post-Pony concert and they will reportedly be making deliveries. They hope to be open by the winter. Their first summer on the boardwalk will be in 2019.

The legend of Maruca's goes back to 1950 when the Trenton-based pizzeria opened a stand on the Seaside Heights boardwalk.

Asbury Park, get ready to experience "the swirl" and the 24-inch slices Seaside and Ocean County have been enjoying for years!
