Mary Lee Detected Off Atlantic City Coast

She's back! The now famous great white shark Mary Lee has been spotted about 40 miles off the Atlantic City coast.

It's the first time Mary Lee has been detected around our area in about half a year. The 16 foot great white has recently become a household name around the Jersey Shore. She reportedly weighs in at 3500 lbs.

Many along the Jersey Shore have tracked Mary Lee's movements at the Ocearch.org website.  Mary Lee's first visit to the Garden State was in May of last year, according to foxnews.com.

We all know that Mary Lee made much closer visits last year, but it looks like we'll be keeping our eyes on her again this year.
