I can't thank our listeners enough for their love. It it always great to meet them.

Granted, I don't usually wear my '94.3 the Point' shirt unless I am hosting a radio event, but I had come straight from Kelly's Tavern on St. Patrick's Day where we had done our morning show live.

So as I was doing my grocery shopping (this time it was at Shop Rite in Wall/Manasquan), I was greeted by not one, not two, but THREE loyal listeners that stopped to say 'hi'.

Since most of the time we do our show out of a dark studio with just the two of us in the room, I love being out and meeting people that listen...especially when they are as friendly as Lois.

I met her as I was at the register paying for my stuff. She was about to take over that cash register when Guy, who was taking my money, told Lois who I was. At first, she didn't believe him, so she made me speak to her to see if she recognized my voice (lol).

Then, upon seeing Christopher and Benjamin with me, she 'confirmed' that I was 'really' Liz Jeressi, and we had a laugh over it.

Benj took this photo of us, and Lois came on the air with us Friday morning to tell the story.

Thanks, Lois, for your great smile and providing some laughter during our shopping spree. And thanks to Guy, too, who seems to spot me no matter when I'm shopping and always has a huge smile and big hello to share.

Also, a big shout-out to the Customer Service girls, the girls in the Bakery, and some of the other wonderful employees at that store that always go out of their way to say hello and take such good care of us.
