There are just a few things that can get all of the Jersey Shore talking. Things like a Bruce or Bon Jovi sighting, and oh yeah, $1.6 billion.

As the Mega Millions jackpot continues to rise, it becomes harder and harder to just buy a gallon of milk or a bottle of water. If you're there, and that big sign is right in your face, you almost can't resist.

I ran into someone at the 7-11 this weekend who said he goes to 4 different stores in Point Boro and Brick and buys 10 tickets at each place. His fear, the same as mine, by the way, is that someone is going to win at a store he shops at on a day he was there but didn't buy tickets.

And good luck finding a Jersey Shore office that doesn't have plans for some group tickets. People are carrying cash just in case an office pool breaks out. It's a lot of fun, but it would be nice if someone, anyone would win this thing.

So here is the order in my mind of who I want to win

(1) Me (come on you feel the same way)

(2) Family or friends

(3) Somebody local (as long as they didn't buy it at the store I buy tickets)

(4) Somebody from New Jersey

(5) Somebody who can really use it

So, good luck to all. Well, good luck to me, my family and friends and so on. The next drawing is tomorrow (10/23) at 11:00 p.m.
