The Hope & Comfort Warming Center has just opened.

Located at 166 Shrewsbury Avenue, yesterday's snow was great timing for a new warming center for homeless men.

Jon and Dorothea were on hand for the ribbon cutting. In fact, Dorothea Bongiovi was the force behind this great idea.

The Hope & Comfort Warming Center is in a church-owned house and can accommodate up to 12 men for overnight stays on icy nights.

Those in need will also get a cot, blanket, shower, and snacks.

This is the first center of its kind in Monmouth County.
