Missing Wall Children Found Safe After 3 Hour Search

A brief scare for a Monmouth County family when their two children wandered away from their Wall Township home leading to a 3 1/2 hour search Tuesday night. According to Patch.com, the 12-year-old girl and 9-year-old boy from where playing in the courtyard at the Spring Lake Garden apartments just before 7 p.m. Before they disappeared.

K-9 units from Wall and Ocean County, five police departments, the Monmouth County Prosecutors Office participated in the search. Police say they were found around 11 p.m. by K-9 units walking back toward the complex and were reunited with their parents.

Foul play is not suspected.
