Modern Family is one of the funniest and most successful shows on network television and two of the show's stars performed at the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank last night.

Eric Stonestreet (Cam) and Jesse Tyler Ferguson (Mitchell) did a show that  consisted of the two stars talking about their climb to success, some great stories about the filming of the show, some great behind the scenes peeks and questions from the audience.

These two incredibly funny actors seem to have the same comic chemistry in real life as they do on the show and kept the audience laughing for their 90 minute show. They talked about everything from their personal lives to their dinner at Bouna Sera.

The thing that struck me was how hard they worked to entertain the crowd. These weren't two guys who just showed up to soak in their own applause. They were on that stage to put on a great show and a number of times mentioned that they were there because they really enjoyed spending time with the shows fans. It was refreshing and seemed incredibly sincere.

Their interaction with the crowd, including visits into the crowd for both actors, was hysterical and endearing. It made me glad to have invested all the hours I have into watching the show. Great job from both Eric Stonestreet and Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and continued success. They seem like good guys who deserve it.
