Monmouth County Downtown Farmers Markets 2016

Here's where our farmers will be selling their produce and the other specialty items. I love this time of year. A chance to eat healthy, home-grown foods and show our love to the great farming community surrounding us!

Shop Jersey Fresh, farm-to-table, organic, and straight from our farms. Support area farmers this spring, summer, and fall. Here is the list of Farmers Markets:

-- Asbury Fresh Farmer's Market at Kennedy Park, Cookman Ave. & Grand Ave. June 12th - Sept. 25th, Friday evenings: 5:30 pm - 9 pm. July & August, Sundays 11 am - 4 pm. Fruits and vegetables. certified organic, pesticide-free. Breads, locally caught seafood, free range/grass fed meats and poultry, baked goods, cheeses, vegan food, pop-up restaurants, handmade artisan jewelry, and soaps.

-- Asbury Park Sunset Farmers Market on Sunset Ave. at Main Street. Open through Oct. 31st on Saturdays, 8 am - 1 pm. Fruits, vegetables, pickles, hot sauce, jams, plants, flowers, and honey.

-- Atlantic Highlands Chamber of Commerce Farmers Market at Veteran's Park, 111 First Ave. through Oct. 7th. Fridays, Noon - 6 pm. Fruits, vegetables, flowers, condiments, natural skin care products, jellies and jams, breads, ethnic foods, organic coffee and tea, sweets, and more.

-- Belmar Fresh Farmer's Market at Pyanoe Plaza, 9th & Main, June 18th - Oct. 1st, Saturdays 10 am - 3 pm. Fruits, vegetables, certified organic, locally caught seafood, free range/grass fed meats and poultry, breads, baked goods, cheeses, vegan food, pop-up restaurants, handmade artisan jewelry, soaps, and more.

-- Downtown Freehold's Farmers Market at Hall of Records, 1 East Main St., July 1st - October, Fridays, 10 am - 3pm. Fruits and vegetables, baked goods, honey, flowers, jams, jellies, breads, and more.

-- Englishtown Auction Farmers Market, Rt. 527, year-round Saturday and Sunday, 8 am - 4 pm. Variety of fruits and vegetables.

-- Galleria Red Bank Farmers Market, 2nd Bridge Ave., through mid- November, Sundays 9 am - 2 pm. Fruits, vegetables, crafts and food.

-- Giamano's Farmers Market, 301 Main St. (Rt. 71) in Bradley Beach. June 18th - October, Wednesdays, 11 am - 4 pm. Locally grown produce.

-- Highlands Farmers Market at Huddy Park, 301 Shore Drive. June - October, Saturdays 8:30 am - 2 pm. Fruits, vegetables, flowers, specialty vendors like nuts, pickles, Italian specialties, baked goods, artisans and crafters.

-- Keyport Farmers Market at Fireman's Park, W. Front St. through Oct. 20th. Closed on Aug. 11th. Thursdays, 1 pm - 7 pm or until they sell out! Fruits, vegetables, potted plants, baked goods, and kettle corn.

-- Manasquan Farmers Market, Corner of Main St. and Miller Preston Way (at the corner by Rite Aid), July 2nd - Sept. 3rd, Thursdays 10 am - 3 pm. Fruits, vegetables, baked goods, local honey, cheeses.

-- West End Farmers Market, corner of Brighton and Kossik (West End section) in Long Branch. Through November, Thursdays 9 am - 4 pm. Fruits, vegetables, plants, Italian specialty cheeses, breads, salsas, baked goods.
