Come to BookTowne in Manasquan this Thursday night and meet the local author of a fantastic new read!

Michelle Sassa is a mom in Aberdeen who is raising three kids. So I don't know how she found the time to write her first novel, but I'm so glad she did because it is one of the coolest books I have ever read and the story will stick with me.

Now BookTowne, 171 Main Street in Manasquan, has invited Michelle to do a book signing this Thursday evening (December 3rd, 2015), 6:30 pm, and I know I will be stopping by to grab a copy or two for holiday gifts for my girlfriends, and to see Michelle. It'll be a nice evening for you and your girlfriends to enjoy some wine, good conversation, a little shopping, and getting to know Michelle.

So what is Copygirl about? It's about a woman and her dream to move to NYC and become successful in a field that she loves. Unfortunately, that field is dominated by men with egos and things get challenging, to say the least. But our heroine not only rises to the occasion and overcomes the odds, but she also finds love and unexpected friendships along the way.

The characters are well thought out and really come to life. The humor is a nice touch, especially when you're talking about a subject that could break some women. Sometimes we have dreams that fall apart and we find ourselves not wanting to leave our couch and get back out there...whether it's because of a career or a relationship.

Thanks, Michelle and Anna (who co-wrote the book with Michelle) for a bright, original, and fun read. Can't wait for the book signing Thursday! (Copies of the book will be available for purchase that evening.)

Copygirl, Anna Mitchael and Michelle Sassa, Berkley Books (Penguin), is also available at Barnes & Noble in Brick and in Monmouth Mall. And you can get it on Amazon, too.
