Rebecca Soni, born in Freehold before moving to Plainsboro, took silver in the women's 100 meter breaststroke at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.

Soni was only topped by a 15 year old girl from Lithuania, who beat her by eight one hundreths of a second. One of Soni's strongest distances, the 200 meter breaststroke is still ahead, kicking off tomorrow morning. Rebecca is considered to be a favorite. Rebecca took home gold in the 2008 Olympics in Beijing in the 200m breaststroke, setting a world record.

 Congratulations Rebecca and good luck!
