Monmouth County Pancreatic Cancer Walk Set For May 19th At Monmouth University

Nicole Tuscano joined us on the show this morning to talk about this year's Monmouth County Pancreatic Cancer Walk, which will take place at Monmouth University on Sunday May 19th.

The walk was started in memory of Nicole's mom Cleo who passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2008. The first walk was held in 2010 at the Manasquan resevoir and raised $52,000 and featured 400 walkers. In 2011 the event moved to Monmouth University and had 600 walkers and brought in $102,000. Last year it continued to grow, raising $115,000 on the strength of 800 walkers.
