Monmouth County Sheriff Shaun Golden joined us on the morning show today to talk about the county's 21st Annual Youth Week program.

High school aged participants will get the opportunity to explore interest in law enforcement through instructional sessions and police academy style training.It's a week long program, running from July 8-12 at the Monmouth County Police Academy and there is no fee to participate.

Each day for the recruits will begin at 7:45am and end at 4:00pm and will feature academic instruction, drills, physical training and ceremonies. A graduation ceremony, which parents and friends are encouraged to attend, will take place Friday July 12th.
