Looking to get into the film industry? This weekend is all about you!

The Monmouth Film Festival is an opportunity for you to meet with industry professionals, participate in a variety of workshops and view some of the most creative and inspiring cinematic works from around the globe. The MFF kicks off this Friday with an opening night of short films, followed by a networking event and rooftop party at Teak in Red Bank.

If you’re an aspiring actor, my advice is to learn every aspect of the business. This Saturday, you can participate in the Acting, Producing, Directing Workshops and attend the seminar, The Business of Film. There are several categories for creative works including features, shorts and a special spot for Jersey Films and NJ Premieres. Trailers, TV Pilots and Web Series are also on the schedule. You get to view all of these creative projects before anyone else…that’s the VIP experience!

…But wait, there’s more…!  On Saturday at 5:30 p.m., get interactive with the 2018 Industry Panel, featuring David Schoner (NJ Film Commission), Allison Vanore (Producer), Marissa Crespo (Entertainment Lawyer), Ellen Su (Animator), Roger Del Pozo (Casting Director) and Chris Adams (Nickelodeon), with Bryan DeNovellis moderating (News 12 NJ). This exclusive panel of professionals will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience from which you can benefit to help shape your film career. You can even participate in the Web Series & TV Pilots Competition, where you vote for your favorite episodes.

Ticket incentives include senior and military discounts as well as festival passes. Click here for details and enjoy the finest quality of independent cinema at the Two River Theater in Red Bank this weekend.
