New Chick-Fil-A, Shake Shack In The Jersey Shore's Future

The Monmouth Service Area at mile marker 100 will be closed for business until reopening this upcoming May -- hopefully shortly after Memorial Day Weekend -- because the building is undergoing a major renovation.

I know it is a bit of a pain because now there will be nearly a 50 mile stretch with no place to stop for fuel or restrooms but it sounds like the wait will be worth it.

The new-and-improved rest stop will have a Shake Shack, Chick-fil-A, Auntie Anne's, Starbucks and Z Mart! Um....yum!

At the very least, these changes are coming at the end of the busy Summer season and the replacements sound 10x better!
