Morning Show Lunch : Who’s Running The Show?

It was the second morning show lunch since the summer. Some thought that one was too many. Some thought it was two too many.

This time around it was Nancy's turn to host. She put out a nice spread, even cooking for the event. But when she asked if everyone was going to have salad since there was so much food, Liz suggested we have salad after the meal, Nancy shot Liz that, "It was a yes or no question, I didn't open the floor for debate" look.

The room got quiet, there were some nervous giggles, and I found myself reaching for my keys. A long minute or so later, we were all laughing about it, but two lessons were learned. (1) Liz, just eat your salad when it's served and (2) Don't mess with Nancy's schedule.

We did have a great time and a lot of laughs at Nancy's house. And, by the way Nancy, the pesto was amazing. I thought it tasted great right AFTER that salad!
