Morning rain is expected to change to snow by mid morning and it could make the roads a bit slippery in places today around the Jersey Shore.

In our meteorologist Dan Zarrow's latest update, he is expecting a changeover to snow by mid morning at the latest, and the snow should taper off by this afternoon.

This is not an event that involves any major accumulations, as a matter of fact, Dan is only calling for a coating to an inch, but the changeover could make for some slippery roads during the day today.

Overnight lows will be in the teens, and the high tomorrow (Thursday) is expected to be in the mid 30's, and then as the weekend approaches, temperatures become more seasonable, with highs in the 40's.

So, be careful traveling throughout the day today and tonight as you travel around and stay up to date on the latest weather conditions for the Garden State with Dan Zarrow's weather blog.
