Morning Update On Monmouth County Power Outages

After a hot day without power for many residents in Middletown and other places in Monmouth County, there is some better news this morning.

According to JCP&L's outage map, fewer than 200 customers remain without power this morning. The number at one point was as high as 40,000 statewide, according to app.com. Yesterday water and ice were available for those affected by the outages, according to the report, as everyone tried to deal with a very hot, humid day in our area.
