A motorcyclist has posted video of himself hitting 186 MPH on the New Jersey Turnpike giving new meaning to the term "fast traffic."

The gloved cyclist who posted the video on YouTube under the name "Robert Bobby" is seen driving on Interstate 95 north out of Philadelphia and north into Bucks County and over the Scudder Falls Bridge into New Jersey. He continued onto I-295 and I-195 and the New Jersey Turnpike, taking a quick break at the Molly Pitcher service area.

A speedometer shows his speed on the Suzuki hit speeds in excess of 150 MPH as he speeds north on the Turnpike during his nighttime ride, passing trucks and cars. The video ends as he approaches exit 13 (Carteret).

New Jersey State Police say the public's safety is the first priority in determining if they would pursue high speed riders.

"At the end of the day, they’re going to try and stop them," Sgt. Adam Grossman of the NJ State Police told NBC Philadelphia. “It all comes down to safety. Safety for the trooper and safety for the public.”
