It probably meant more to me than to him (lol!), but here are some of the photos from yesterday when my son played the Pony.

Ben plays drums with a band called "Marel Hidalgo and the Stone Feathers". They have toured and played great venues like the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland...

...but this is the first time they were requested to play at The Stone Pony, in order to help raise money to find a cure for Parkinson's Disease and ALS for the Light of Day Festival.

Little Marel, the lead guitarist, is all of 9 years old (you've probably seen on Harry Connick Jr.'s TV show) and stops people in their tracks with his guitar playing. McKaela Jones is a 16 year old with so much swag on bass and percussion, and a big thanks to Dawn Hopkins who played guitar and bass, and James Graff who got up to jam on keyboard and sax.

The crowd was fantastic and so many people came out, despite the cold...and football, lol.

It was a great moment.
