A friend of mine just turned me on to Kitch Organic in Red Bank, and I am hooked!

My friend Louise asked me to meet her for lunch at this place, and it was so off the beaten path of the places I usually see in Red Bank that I thought I had the wrong directions, because the street this restaurant is on looks like it's just a neighborhood...you don't even realize there is a restaurant on this street until you are upon it!

Then you walk in the door and immediately fall in love with the atmosphere. Hip and homey all at once, beautiful, clean, modern, full of light, small and cozy all at the same time. There is also a glorious outdoor seating area behind the restaurant (photo below) for nice weather.

And there is free WiFi, lol!

The food on this menu and the drinks (from juices to smoothies to coffee) are all clean, healthy choices that are absolutely delicious!

I fell in love immediately and went back twice in the same week. Now I can't wait to take my boys there.

This is the way we SHOULD be eating. And I am thrilled that this place exists.

The service is great and the crowd is always wonderful. There is real support and enthusiasm for this restaurant and I am so glad it is here and that I have found it! You'd be hard-pressed to find a better, more delicious, and healthier lunch!

There are so many things I still want to try and, being that I'm not vegan, I ADORE the bison burger with sweet potatoes and the banana smoothie is to die for! (I can't remember what it's called....the fall menu and specials are being served but the website still lists their spring/summer menu.)

Their specials are listed on boards near the entrance, so be sure to read them as well as the menu. Then go up near the kitchen to order and pay, and sit down and they'll bring everything to you.

For breakfast or lunch, I highly recommend you try this place. Just make sure to save me a seat! 75 Leighton Avenue, Red Bank.
