National Guard Arrives to Help Jersey Shore

I was driving on Bridge Ave. in Point Pleasant yesterday and I saw what I'm pretty sure was the National Guard. It certainly was comforting to know that additional help is here for all the unprecedented, monumental tasks ahead of us here at the Jersey Shore.

Still, it was pretty unbelievable to see. As the trucks drove by, you could see people just stop what they were doing to soak in the moment. It was just another reminder of the unbelievable week we have been through here at the Jersey Shore.

And the National Guard wasn't the only help I witnessed yesterday. On every block I drove down yesterday, I saw neighbor helping neighbor. And that's what the Jersey Shore is all about. And no storm can destroy that.
