New Baby Penguin at Jenkinson’s Aquarium

We literally put this chick to sleep after it spent part of the morning on our show!

This 42-day old baby was so worn out after being on our morning show that it fell asleep in this position!

Can you take the cuteness?!!! I got to hold it for a little while...it's still full of the softest of soft downy fur but some of its new feathers are starting to appear.

We will find out soon whether it's a boy or girl...and by the time we do our show again live from Jenkinson's on Wednesday, Aug. 10th, we may even know if the Aquarium has chosen a name for this little one.

Meanwhile, this baby penguin listens to Lou and Liz every morning...it's the only radio station they play for it!!!

Look at this little buttt sticking up in the position he/she fell asleep face-down in the pillow!

You will be able to see this new addition to Jenkinson's Aquarium when it is about three months old. In the meantime, sleep well, little one.
