There has been a lot of Grammy history with roots that make their way back to the Garden State. But the Grammy history of the man we call 'The Boss' is amazing.

Here are some hard to match Grammy numbers that Bruce Springsteen has compiled over the years. The Boss has been nominated a whopping 50 times and he has taken home the Grammy 20 times.

His first win came back in 1984 for Best Rock Vocal Performance for Dancing In The Dark at the 36th Grammy Awards back in 1984, according to the Grammy website. Springsteen made his Grammy stage debut 10 years later in 1994.

More recently, Bruce received a Grammy nomination in 2017, at the 60th Grammy Awards for Best Spoken Word Album for Born To Run. Springsteen has won a dozen Grammy Awards since 2000.

Only 13 people in history have won more Grammy Awards than Bruce, including Stevie Wonder (25), Beyonce (22), U2 (22), and Kanye West (21), making Bruce Springsteen the Grammy Champ of the Garden State.

The 61st Annual Grammy Awards are this Sunday, February 10th on CBS.
