New Jersey has finally made the top 5 on one of the lists we'd want to be on. We're one of the top 5 most livable states in America.

24/7 Wall St. looked at all the states' living conditions in the nation and considered such factors as health, poverty, housing markets and education among others to rank the states as most livable in America.

When all the conditions were considered, the Garden State found itself ranked as #4 most livable state, behind only New Hampshire, Connecticut and Massachusetts. According to the research reported at msn.com, New Jersey has the 4th lowest poverty rate, the 9th lowest 10 year population growth and the 8th highest life expectancy at birth.

According to the experts, it really is hard to quantify the things that make a place "livable", but it is nice seeing the Garden State at the top of a study that we're not embarrassed about being near the top of.
