Who says it doesn't pay to be a gentleman?

2013 is shaping up to be a breakout year for Monmouth County-based band The Perfect Gentleman. The band has recently spent some time at Soundwaves Studio in Union working with producer Tom Stratton on a new EP called "More than Words."

"I cannot wait for our fans to hear our new album," Lead singer Matt Manisero says. "You can hear the hard work and emotion in every line in every song."

To celebrate "More Than Words" the band is planning a release party on Thursday, February 14 at iPlay America in Freehold at 7 p.m. They will also be giving away free copies of the EP to the first 50 attendees.

"Our fans are amazing," Manisero added. "We are here because of them."

The Perfect Gentleman will return to iPlay America's Encore Event Center on February 23 for The Break Contest. Coming off a big performance at 2012 Bamboozle Festival in Asbury Park, the group hopes to land a spot on this year's Skate and Surf Festival.

On February 8, The Perfect Gentleman will give an acoustic performance at Applegate Elementary School in Freehold where they'll speak to 600 students about life goals, positivity and success.

"The Perfect Gentleman has come a long way, and it's finally paying off," Guitarist Gary Gorski said of the band's busy schedule.

What more can i say? We're just a group of lucky guys trying to live the dream doing what we love," Manisero said.
