Part of the Long Branch boardwalk has been gone since Sandy. The portion that was lost in the hurricane went from West End to the foot of where the new Pier Village boardwalk starts where Sirena restaurant is.

No more walking and running in the street! Now the whole boardwalk is about 2 miles long from the west end to the furthest point north at the foot of 7 Presidents Park. (The boardwalk that didn't get damaged in the hurricane is the part from Sirena Restaurant down past the hotel and Rooney's. It's concrete.
