A new proposal could mean another new Garden State Parkway exit to make traveling a little easier for drivers.

Currently, if you are traveling south on the Parkway and need to get to that area, you have to exit at 89 and drive through Brick along Rt. 70 and down New Hampshire Ave. or Rt. 9, or exit at 82 and turnaround and get back on the northbound Parkway, or drive up Main St./166.

All of those other roadways are incredibly congested, and this could alleviate some of that, though of course, more Parkway construction causes its own problems.

A public information session about the project will be held on Tuesday, June 30th in the Mancini Room at the Toms River Library on Washington St. from 4-7 p.m.
