New Studio Brings Me Closer To Liz Than Ever

You've probably heard us talking on the air about our new studio. Well, today is the first day we're broadcasting from here. The  first thing I noticed is my distance from Liz. In the old studio it was a comfortable 12 feet 4 inches (yes I measured). In the new studio, she's less than 6 feet away. It might be only six feet to you, but it's a world to us.

For almost ten years that 12 feet 4 inches represented some space, a little buffer between two very different people. Now we have to make eye contact, we have to acknowledge each other and...I'm sorry, it's not easy for me to say....communicate with each other. Even when we're off the air! It might be only six feet to you, but it's a mile to us!! All this time and I had no idea...she has brown eyes. Too much info. I miss those six feet.
